Welcome to di Parma Spinoni

Thank you for visiting Di Parma Spinoni.  My name is Katherine Cooker and this site is dedicated to the Spinone I have in my home and my heart. 

The name for the kennel, Di Parma, was inspired by my maternal grandmother, Cecelia Armanino, whose parents came from Parma, Italy.  It seemed appropriate to name not only my first Spinone, Celia, after her but also my kennel in honor of her family’s origins. 

I was infatuated by the Spinone since the first time I laid eyes on them.  My love for the breed only grew as I researched and got to know the breed.  I trust you will also share my devotion and dedication to this lovely ancient breed. 

I hope to provide you with a good overview of the breed and my philosophy for being involved with the Spinone.  I welcome questions and hope to establish and maintain an open rapport with all the people who ultimately have a Di Parma Spinone join their family.
